Hi! I am an M2 at USF MCOM. If anyone has any questions about the interview/application process or questions about USF MCOM in general feel free to reach out.
Hi! I was wondering if you can change your mind on which scholarly concentration you choose, or if you are bound to the one you put down on the secondary app?

I'm not a student at USF but per the website you have until the end of September of M1 to choose a concentration. Looks like there are a few student- and faculty-led events to showcase each concentration beforehand.

I wrote about two concentrations that I was particularly excited about.

I just realized my application wasn't considered complete until I submitted the residency docs... omg... submitting rn.

Lurking M1 here - I forgot to hit the submit button last year on the residency form, realized a month later and thought it would totally screw me... still got a II in September it's no big deal. Also anyone can feel free to PM me any questions

Does anyone know if the SELECT program shows bias towards PA residents? Considering you do clinical rotations in Allentown, PA

Also an M1 here. Disagreeing with the person above me, haven't seen too many people here from PA in SELECT.

I will say that nearly every person in Core is a FL native, while nearly everyone in SELECT is OOS. If you're OOS yourself, I feel like you'd have a better shot applying SELECT, with the opposite being true for a FL resident.

Given what my portal says below, this is a complete application, correct?
Neurotic because under the residency forms it says 3/4 completed, but the 4th one, "USF MCOM Residency Form," is listed twice, one time being "optional". Assuming we weren't supposed to submit the same residency form twice...
Others, please let me know what you think.
Thanks.

Thank you for submitting the Residency Form!

I just submitted my secondary, RD. How long after submission of the secondary application do they offer II/R?

Hi! I applied to CORE but I just received an email to interview for SELECT. Does anyone know anything about this? I’m OOS for reference

Complete date? And they do this regularly, SELECT is more geared to OOS

Does anyone know if there are any information sessions during the interview day or are there just the two one-on-one interviews?

How long does it take for them to send the confirmation of the interview with the times? Need to know if I need to take off full day of work!

They sent me mine a week after I got the initial II

M1 here in SELECT. I applied to Core only but only interviewed for and was accepted to SELECT. It’s not a mistake, its just that SELECT is where you’re mostly funneled into if you’re OOS. Congrats on the interview!

OOS core II received! LM 75 and submitted 7/12

I know this is a bit random with the IIs rolling out, but I'm submitting my secondary rn (yeah late IK)
I am super confused about what the minimum # of science LORs is. MSAR says its 2, but the USF MD admissions site says its 1??

I got the USF II on Friday, which I missed to see. I'm trying to schedule the II today, Monday but the select date drop down is empty. Does that mean there are no interview dates available & that I missed my chance? What should I do? Did this happen to anyone else?

OOS II Select submitted 7/3... available dates 9/25 and 9/26

I just received a secondary invitation email that tells me I should use the MCOM portal to submit, but there is no link and I can't find it on their website or on Google. Is it somewhere else or did they forget to put a link?

OOS II Core, LM 81.5, Complete 7/21

For those who received interview info… is the interviewers the one attached on the email?

Hey y'all, just popping in to say I'm an MS3 in the SELECT program. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions about the school or SELECT specifically. (although I might be a little slow in replying because of busy rotations). Best of luck!
