Paid my deposit here months back but will be dropping my seat to attend elsewhere
Thank you, kind soul!Paid my deposit here months back but will be dropping my seat to attend elsewhere
Class is filled im pretty sure. Still possibilities for peeps to drop.Is the class filled? Has any one who interviewed this month gotten an acceptance and not a provisional acceptance?
Aww That kinda sucks. I wish they were a little clear on that. It is so much time, resource and money to go interview just to have the class already filled.Class is filled im pretty sure. Still possibilities for peeps to drop.
Yeah, but on the bright side a provisional A is still an A. Fingers crossed.Aww That kinda sucks. I wish they were a little clear on that. It is so much time, resource and money to go interview just to have the class already filled.
Not yet. Deposits for the interview group before they began provisional acceptances are due this Friday so fingers crossed there may be movement.Has anyone here had their provisional acceptance turn into a normal acceptance yet?
I’m following up on this since today is the two week mark.Any 1/31/24 interviewees, hear anything yet?
I got mine Monday!! I got the call around 5 pm Eastern standard timeI’m following up on this since today is the two week mark.
Are you also in the provisional acceptance group list?I got mine Monday!! I got the call around 5 pm Eastern standard time
I don’t believe it is. Only for fully accepted students. Also congratulations!Interviewed on 2/8 and got a provisional acceptance today!
Edit: is the groupme open to people with provisional acceptances?
What was date for this interview group that received the first provisional As?Not yet. Deposits for the interview group before they began provisional acceptances are due this Friday so fingers crossed there may be movement.
It was my group (1/17). Deposits from the group before mine were due today so hopefully some of us will get off the waitlist for this year. What was date for this interview group that received the first provisional As?
I wanted to email admissions about this, but didn’t so thank you for that. Maybe follow up with them since I have had to do that before and they seemed look with it. I got my provisional A on Feb 16 and interviewed at Bucom on Feb 8th. I think I have seen 2 posts about ppl who dropped with seats at Bucom but I haven’t seen anyone say that their provisional acceptance has turned into a normal A yet. So, worst comes to worst, we will probably see movement come April-June since on May 15th, students that are holding multiple seats get a 15 day notice that they can only hold one seat at one med school.Anyone with a provisional acceptance hear anything new yet? I reached out last week to see if they had any estimated deadlines on when we could expect movement for provisional acceptances but they haven't gotten back to me yet.
I interviewed Feb 15th and haven’t heard anything yet…Has anyone heard from anything following the recent interview. I think after the week of Feb 8.
Goated. Congrats on your other As!!I will be withdrawing my A hope it goes to someone on provisional acceptance
It is possible that it may be harder. However BUCOM has affiliated residency programs. Not sure if we would be prioritized for those though.Do you guys think it would be hard to match into a residency being that this is a new school?
Did you interview Feb 14th or Feb 15th?My friend and I interviewed on the same day two weeks ago. They got their rejection letter a full week ago, but I still haven't hear back from them regarding my decision. I wonder why it's taking longer to receive my decision when we interviewed the same day?
February 14thDid you interview Feb 14th or Feb 15th?
I interviewed on the 15th and have not heard anything yet! Good to know there are still people who interviewed on your day that are also waiting.February 14th
Im pretty sure classes are mandatory. Is there any way to know the class schedule and if classes are mandatory? Provisional acceptance here trying to plan.
I believe in the presentations they said only the labs were mandatory in-person. They also said they are heavy on course work Mon-Thurs and Friday is a light day. They definitely prefer for you to be on campus though. Is there any way to know the class schedule and if classes are mandatory? Provisional acceptance here trying to plan.
Dean Bell, he’s a fantastic Dean & any school should consider themselves lucky to have him. He truly puts students first (sometimes at the expense of his own job!)They are affiliated with Baptist memorial health group which is a group of around 20 or so hospitals in Arkansas, TN, and Kentucky I think. So you won’t have trouble with getting clinical rotations. I forgot who it was but one of the deans or higher ups was hired at LUCOM to help them with accreditation. They also have a lot of experienced folks from other DO schools. They know what they’re doing. It’s a very solid choice for medical school
Don't think they they have officially released anything about that yet. I think we did hear there would be BUCOM scrubs. Hoping we will be able to wear our own scrubs too thoughDoes anyone know the dress code for this school? If scrubs are an option, does anyone know what colors are acceptable?
I emailed them a few weeks ago about this and it seemed like they were gonna wait until they are done interviewing ppl before they change over the provisional acceptancesAny movement from provisional list to accepted list for 2024?
I interviewed last week and they said likely April to May will be when they see some movement on the provisional listAny movement from provisional list to accepted list for 2024?
FridayFor those that got provisional acceptance calls, what day of the week did they call? Anxiously awaiting “by Friday” estimate coming up! Thank you!!!!
