+1 OOS
A little bit lmao. I did NOT like Casper.+1 OOS. Anyone else scared about the recorded answers?
It has been audio only in the past.Does anybody know if it’s just audio or audio and video?
This school has required prereqs of 1 course each of physiology and genetics.Should I not submit a secondary application if I did not take genetics + already graduated? I took two biology classes that included genetics, not sure if that counts.
I heard it's timed, is that true? How much time do you get to prepare/record answers?Just finished the secondary. Not too bad! I hope they liked my anecdotes.
It’s timed. You have i think a minute to read the question and 3 to answerI heard it's timed, is that true? How much time do you get to prepare/record answers?
From their TCU homepage:I noticed the school does not have a biology course requirement. If one of my biology courses had genetics content, and another had physiology content, would this count?
They will let you know if there were technical difficulties.did anyone do it yet? I finished but like the test question wasnt replayable for me so I have no clue if my mic recorded all my answers lol. used latest firefox like they said and gave permission for it to access my mic but there was no indicator that It worked....ugh. hope im just being neurotic but why would the test question NOT be re-playable
Uhh I was able to hear minedid anyone do it yet? ugh damnit. thx for letting me know I guess ill just listen to wysdoc and wait until i get an email from them about itUhh I was able to hear mine
you can also email them at [email protected] and say you think there were some technical difficulties during your secondary and ask them to let you know if it transmitted properlyugh damnit. thx for letting me know I guess ill just listen to wysdoc and wait until i get an email from them about it
Great idea I will reach out, thank you!you can also email them at [email protected] and say you think there were some technical difficulties during your secondary and ask them to let you know if it transmitted properly
Confirmed
also says minimum of 502 for screening on msar.
I have no ideaI thought they were international student friendly
They are, but they may not "automatically" give a secondary to an international applicant without reviewing their primaryI thought they were international student friendly
When I checked old threads, it said no webcam is neededMust be a stupid question.
Do I need to have a webcam or just a mic only? Do they show the questions on the computer screen?
I am just out of town, and your comments would be appreciated.
Yeah I mean not ideal but it's like an invterviewish and it's around the same time you'd get for other video secondaries! For those that already submitted. Do you think you were given enough time to think about the prompts?
GPA> 3.0 and MCAT 502 or betterDoes TCU screen?
Same lol. Completed everything but the audio questions. Do I need to prepare or….How long did it take people to complete? Any recommendations to prepare or just shoot my shot without prep?
I'm international and received secondary last weekI thought they were international student friendly
Just audio. No need to prepare or anything, just find a quiet roomJust wanted to confirm- do y’all know if it’s just audio or audio and video? Like is my face gonna be recorded
"Testing, testing, 123" No, they don't keep your response to your audio practice testDo they count the response to the audio testing question too?
+1Anyone else still waiting on a secondary?
I was worried about this same thing!Do they count the response to the audio testing question too?
thank god bc i just said bluh bluh bluh LMAO"Testing, testing, 123" No, they don't keep your response to your audio practice test
Hey @ScribeBing these are some good questions but I don’t have that fine detail of knowledge. I know the B rule applies to those 3 science prerequisites.I'm a bit confused - their website has a small paragraph stating that "All prerequisite courses must be passed with a grade of B or higher (B minus courses do not qualify). These required courses are Genetics, Physiology and Biochemistry."
However it goes on to list Stats, English, Psych/Soc, and Humanities as courses (potentially held to the same standard ?) below the paragraph
@wysdoc I see your earlier comment is from the FAQ section. What's detailed above is from How to Prepare a Competitive Application. Unsure if you have additional insight/which is most updated
Clarification would be much appreciated before completing the secondary #GoFrogs
@wysdocJust saw the prerequisite grade requirements. I earned a C in genetics due to some unforeseen circumstances. No other prerequisites below the grade mark. Should I email the school? Or is this a hard requirement and I just give up on the secondary?
Sorry @Natehill32 I think you need the B
