Someone needs to design a killer AI based program that can be programmed to talk to patients, to go over their pathology results, so that we can get more exposure with patients, most who don’t even know what we do.

We can discuss their results using a digital avatar via an Apple VisionPro.

We can program the digital avatar to discuss common histopathologic findings like tubular adenoma, invasive ductal carcinoma, etc.

The AI program shall pinpoint relevant areas on a slide to the patient during the discussion.

We can also program the avatar to discuss staging, etc with the patient. The AI software will be programmed to automatically read the pathology report and relay all relevant findings to the patient and answer any questions the patient may have via a ChatGPT based chat.

I've found that the majority of these types discussions all lead to treatment options - which Heme/onc is more equipped to answer. Although some patients find the "explanation" of the histology helpful, most really want to know how it will impact treatment and prognosis. I think the helpful feature here would be to get a confirmation of the report, like a second opinion.
