Astro Career Center and "A Roadmap for Recruiting Medical Students into Radiation Oncology during a Period of Waning Interest"

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Radiation Oncology is the only reason I know Kearney, Nebraska is a place.

All 3 of which have not popped up in recent history.

Only private ongoing place that keeps popping up.... is KSK center in Irvine.
I would really like to know why a private practice in the middle of Orange County can’t find/keep anyone. Someone on here has to know something.

CMS is trying to make medicine efficient (cost saving, from a central planning POV). If that means needing fewer physicians - all the better.

Long term play.

Looked into ksk and 10+ years ago and posted sdn. Diff radonc every year and the owner was beyond sketchy. Someone who worked with him posted something on sdn to that affect as well.
