not always, my friend was last year and then emailed them explaining her high level of interest. She proceeded to interview and attends here now. I would recommend emailing

Any advice on information to include in a letter of intent. I already sent an update letter back in August and have no other updates. I don't want to reiterate the "why this school" answer. Tulane is my top choice and I have been on hold for a possible interview since 10/2...

No, I don’t believe so. They pretty much stated that they don’t do ranked waitlists.

i was an 11/10 interview and have not heard back yet. assuming it's all about when you get presented to the committee. it's definitely a long wait :/ hang in there
