Try to improve your fluency over the next month (as well as through the cycle).

I suggest:

UCD
CUSM
Drexel
Temple
Oakland
Wayne State
MCW
Vermont
Nova MD
Arizona Tucson (has specific pre-reqs though)
Penn State
Rosalind Franklin
Quinnipiac
TCU
Belmont (when it opens)

For DO:
Western
Touro CA
Touro NV
PCOM
DMU
Marian
KCU

Please let us know how it goes since it helps to see how much success students have with MD around this stat range.

Work on your Spanish language skills. I suggest these schools with your stats:
California University
UC Davis
UC Irvine
Loma Linda (if you fit their mission)
Arizona (Tucson and Phoenix)
TCU
Creighton
NOVA MD
Wake Forest
George Washington
Drexel
Temple
Hackensack
Einstein
New York Medical College
Albany
Vermont
Quinnipiac
Oakland Beaumont
Medical College Wisconsin
Rosalind Franklin
Fro DO schools I suggest these:
WESTERN
TUCOM-CA
TUNCOM
AZCOM
UIWSOM
KCU-COM
ATSU-KCOM
MU-COM
PCOM
NYITCOM
Touro-NY
CUSOM

great thanks! Based on your badges it seems like you have quite a bit of experience. Realistically its a long shot for mds? should i focus more on do applications? Also what about adding HBCUs?

Add in Faha’s suggestions as well. I would submit in June for MD as you are a good candidate for DO and submitting AACOMAS in July or August should be fine.

No to the HBCUs since you don’t come from that background and don’t have significant service experience with that community.

I'll differ in one suggestion: Reach out to Charles Drew and see if a significant population of students who are most similar to you in background.
