UNC Chapel Hill vs. Quinnipiac Netter
Please help me decide!
UNC pros
- Highly ranked, strong reputation/track record
- Has home hospital
- More opportunities for research
- Close to family
UNC cons
- I went here for undergrad
- Larger class size (230)
Netter pros
- Close to boyfriend and other fam
- In New England, connections in NYC, Yale, other hospitals up north
- Smaller class size
- Most students match up north
- $20k scholarship, making it equal to UNC in-state
Netter cons
- Lesser known, less opportunities given up front
- No home hospital, rotations all over CT
- Not big on research
I'm just trying to figure out if it's silly to give up UNC for the experience at Netter / whether I could still get the same education and opportunities at Netter. Any advice is appreciated!
