Hey all,

I heard you can transfer your GI bill benefits to your children. I do not have any yet, but I plan to have at least one in the next few years. I already served 2 years and have 5 years left on my contract (but may sign up for more).

Does anyone have any intel on how this works? I heard I could transfer my benefits to my spouse now and she can hold them until we have children. I also heard that the transfer requires 4 additional years of service.

THANKS
