Hi fellas - I've been searching the forums for an answer to this without success so don't burn on me on first attempt please. One of the dentists that I shadowed for a while asked me to draft a recommendation letter she could review. I've looked at some official sample letters posted on university websites as well as read the expected elaborate details that make for a strong letter. I am stumped about how to indicate valuable specific contributions on the recommendation letter when all we do is observe, discuss cases, and primarily ask questions about processes and treatment plans. After all, it is called shadowing for a reason.
Please advise cause I am completely overwhelmed. And if you feel this warrants a PM, please feel free. I could use a hanky!
