Process of getting academic affiliation with med school

Graduating fellow here potentially signing on with a hospital system near Touro Middletown NY area.

I have interest in teaching med students and would like to be part of the preceptorship options for the school.

What is the process for doing that? And if there is anyway to gain an academic affiliation/title?

You will need to reach out to Dep't Chairs and/or Curriculum Deans.

Your affiliation might yield a title of something like "Adjunct Assistant Professor"
