I’m planning on leaving my employed position and going to a private practice. They don’t provide malpractice so I need to purchase my own. I feel pretty lost any advice? Ballpark prices I’ll be looking at?

What's your state? What kind of practice? Planning for pure ketamine all time?

Definitely you can look at PMRS but you can also just talk to a malpractice insurance broker and they’ll give you like 5-6 different quotes with different coverage options.

Nobody can give you ballpark prices, that’s like asking for a ballpark home, auto, life insurance quote, etc. Better to just talk to a broker or a few malpractice carriers and compare quotes.

It's really cheap for psychiatry compared to most other specialties. I have the usual 1mil/3mil with tail and think it's only $7k per year with 22 years of practice in Child/Adol. I think it was just $1k my first year out of fellowship.
