I’m struggling to decide if I should sign a lease in my current town or not because I am on a waitlist. Is it typically okay to call or email ADCOMs & ask for a relative idea on where I fall? The school I am waitlisted at is a DO school if that matters. Thanks!
I seriously doubt that they'll tell you. At might school, it's either "Top 50%" or "Bottom 50%", other schools may have High, Medium and Low priority. Others many have an unranked list

You can try. They may be able to give you an idea but I don’t think they will say “you are number 5.” Most landlords will allow you to rent month to month (for a higher rent) but that may be the best option until you know for sure.

Agree with above, they probably won't tell you but at least you have a reasonable need to get some clarity. Also agree with going month-to-month if need be.
