Position Wanted IMG, Passed all USMLE exams on first attempt with step2: 240 -Looking for FM or IM

Hi,

I am hoping to get some advice or guidance.

I am an IMG from Canada and i just recently graduated (2020). I have passed all the step exams on my first attempt with a 214 on step 1 and 240 on step2. I have no gaps during med school and during this application season i only got 2 interviews. I contacted my school and they thought that very unusual to get only 2 interviews. I am a very sociable person and got along with everyone i worked with. Unfortunately i did not match, I am looking for any FM or IM opportunities.

I am kind lost with what to do next. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Charge ahead. There are new openings all the time. Not a lot, but they are always there. You've got to check every lead you can and make sure your application materials are ready to send to them so there is no delay. Be persistent and you can be successful. I've helped people in the past so I know it can be done.
