Medical How do I handle commit to enroll having a DO acceptance and MD waitlists

Hello!

After applying this cycle I've been accepted to one DO school and waitlisted at 3 MD schools. My question, after reading the AACOMAS traffic guidelines multiple times, is do I need to withdraw from the MD schools by the May 15th deadline? Is the May 15th deadline similar to the "Plan to Enroll" option for AMCAS? Any clarification on this part of the process would be greatly appreciated.

AMCAS and AACOMAS do not talk to each other. If you are set on waiting for the MDs, do not withdraw and wait it out.
