Hey there! I was wondering how P/NP classes are viewed, at least in California.

I've been taking plenty of classes not essential to my major or prerequisites for P/NP this entire time and I only just found out now that they could be viewed negatively, at least for Law and maybe Pre-Med. So I was wondering, how do Californian OT programs view P/NP courses? Thanks!

For the record, I mainly took breadth courses for P/NP, since you only need to pass them to get credit for graduation.

I would believe that they do not look at them as heavily as Law and Medical school. OT schools themselves have different requirements. They tend to focus on the last 60 units (non P/NP) and OT prerequisites. They just want to make sure that you can excel which I believe the other requirements also sufficient. You also have GRE and letter of recommendations.
