30 pharmacies closing resulting in a loss of 100 pharmacist positions equates to 3.3 pharmacists per store. Even if you assume some of those positions were part time, it seems incredibly inefficient to have that many employed pharmacists. I wonder if maybe the profitable retail locations should have stay open alongside specialty, home infusion, etc. With less than 2 months of employment left, I hope those involved can find new positions.
