"The earthquake which struck northern Pakistan and Azad Kashmir early this week was a bigger catastrophe than last years tsunami in terms of the number of people made homeless and the extent of destruction to infrastructure, a World Health Organisation official said here on Thursday.
Hussein A. Gezairy, the organizations regional director, said the quake rendered 2.5 million people homeless as against 1.5 million displaced by the tsunami. Besides, another million people are in extreme grief, needing immediate help." - Dawn.com

Reading all this has brought tears to my eyes. There's not much i can say, but i can only pray to God that He helps out everybody effected by this deadly earthquake and other catastrophic events that took place this year.
You can donate money to the following charities. And remember, each dollar we donate is not a big dent in our pockets but will do a world of good to those who need it.
