I don't think it matters what kind of file. I think pdf just makes a file look more professional, like how most people submit their CVs and cover letters for jobs in pdf format.

Just got the application completed email today at 1:36 pm CST. I submitted my secondary on July 2nd as well. So, assuming you've got all your documents in (i.e. LORs, MCAT, etc.) then you should get your e-mail pretty soon I'd imagine.

Just got off the phone with admissions, I had to call them for my file to be moved into the complete file. Also they said interviews will starts possibly last week of august or early September so we got a little wait here.

All interviews are virtual this year. Admissions mentioned this at one of the virtual DO events & stated they planned to continue virtually throughout the cycle. It allows them to interview more candidates

up to you! from what everyone has said above it doesn't seem like it hurts!

I just want to echo that I do not think they would mind emailing to confirm given that it has been a few weeks since the submission of your secondary. For example, if you submitted within the last week I personally wouldn't just because the amount of applications they go through per cycle. However, it is ultimately up to you. The school's admission office has always been super friendly.
