Hello all - Have a Question - I hear from many medical students and established providers they feel going through the credentialing process is a 'nightmare'. That being said - I would like to know, as a student, if there was an educational seminar, manual, or consultation offered in your area - not services, but only education as to what to expect - everything from correctly formatting CV's(yes there is a right and wrong way regarding credentialing), malpractice claims, applications processes, CAQH, and many other topics, would you as a student take advantage of it in order to gain a better understanding and to possibly save you money in the long run?
I ask because I'm thinking of offering such a service for medical students. No services as students don't generally need services. However as a credentialing specialist, I have heard hundreds of times over the duration of a 15 year career, how providers wish someone had only told them about what to expect......so I would like to know if future providers feel the same. Please respond and let me know......Thanks.
