Trying to sort out my match list and wanted some opinions. Which of these is the best city for family living while still having some culture and things to do?

Mobile AL is pretty nice. Has all the big-name stores and good golfing. No snow unless it's some sort of freak occurrence. Close enough to New Orleans and Pensacola for a weekend getaway.

Tough list to pick from. Honestly don't know much about any of those cities at all.

My gf's sister lived in Dayton for a bit, she seemed to like it.

Probably too late, but as a major university town, Iowa City is probably the best option. Smaller in size so not as "busy" with good schools, but the University brings in major events so it punches above it's weight class for culture.

Been to all of them. The winner here is Mobile. It’s not a bad city, pretty nice beach. Most importantly it’s close to Pensacola, Biloxi, and New Orleans, which are all great cities to visit.
