Hello everyone! I am an infantry officer looking back into medicine. I took advice from a MD mentor to try different careers before finalizing on medicine (wasn't sure during college). I tried to pursue a few different passions outside sciences that would be challenging -- law enforcement and military, but medicine always lures me back in! As many can agree, nothing beats the feeling of happiness when discharging COVID(+) pts that have been hospitalized for months! I want to continue my education and being a leader.

Here for: WAMC/School List recommendation (should I apply to MD or only to DO)? Must stay in US.
Where to improve during next 2 years? Considering a MBA and MPH.

GPA: 3.4c, 3.3s (no trends, rounded down)
MCAT: current AAMC practice exam 2 (500,125/125/125/125). My goal is 510+ by early 2022.
Interest: 1. surgery 2. emergency medicine

As long as your MCAT score is at least 500 you will be competitive for most DO schools.Post your actual score here next year. Depending on your score you could be competitive for some MD schools.
