Hello, I'm a 3rd year interested in PM&R. Just have a q about a description on UChicago's residency website:
"A Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency application to Schwab can be accepted via the ERAS. Applicants who complete one year of accredited training (surgery, internal medicine, transitional year, family practice, pediatrics) are eligible to apply."
So forgive me if I'm way out of the loop here, but does this mean you can't apply to this program straight out of med school because they require an intern year? Any clarification would be appreciated because I'm reading this as "we only accept applications from PGY1s."
