Hi everybody!:hello:
I'm a french student. I need some help :help: to translate a french term "personne de confiance". If you translate word for word, it gives you "person of trust".
In France, a person of trust is someone who accompanies (follows) the patient during the consultation with the practitioner (physician) and can help the patient to take decisions for his health.
I don't know if it exists in US. I have to present a clinical case with some researches about the person of trust, but i can't since i don't find the translation.+pissed+

Thank you very well for your help!:)

:hello: Hello!
it's me again. I want to precise that the "peson of trust" is often a member of the family (husband, wife, son, daughter...)

I'm still waiting for your answers!

Thanks!

Hello!
I found by chance the translation:
personne de confiance=surrogate.
Can you confirm the role of a surrogate?

Thank you!
