I am having a tough time getting ahold of a air force recruiter and was hoping someone here will have an answer for me. What are the steps you have to go through to get the HPSP scholarship? As far as I understand you must have the DAT done, have a letter of acceptance, letters of recommendation (not sure from who), and a physical. Is there anything else? When does one usually hear back from the board (or whoever reviews the apps)? If anyone could help me out before the recruiter gets back to me that would be awesome!

Step 1
a. Official DAT score
b. Letters of recommendation from 3 ppl, anyone who know you well
c. CV/Resume
d. Security clearance info document (forgot the name for the doc)
e. HPSP application (just a general form) with a personal statement
f. Official colleges transcripts

Step 2:
a. Interview with two active duty dental officers
b. Physical exams

Step 3:
Wait for the result from the board.
