Dear All,

Please be aware of the changes or the policy for the statement of the need for fellowship.

2018-2019 List of Needed Specialties for Issuing Statements of Need under Category B - Canada.ca

I know many know but is important to be on top of this. Do not think this will be like the residency statement of need, they will deny you and they have started sending letters or emails to applicants who contacted them regarding fellowship application for this year. Those applicants started residency in 2016

my suggestion is to bring this up with your MPP and MP and also email Health Canada or write to them.
