Air Force Resident Salary

Hi all,

Probably should have asked this prior to match day, but how do we calculate our pay as PGY1s? Starting to think about budgets post-graduation (especially since people are saying we won't get paid until July…or October) and realize I have no idea regarding salaries. From my understanding, you get the monthly pay as an O-3 with less than 2 years, monthly BAH (calculated here http://www.defensetravel.dod.mil/site/bahCalc.cfm), monthly BAS, and monthly VSP ($100 for interns)? Also, are the monthly pay and VSP the only components that are taxed?Thanks everyone.
