What is the realistic chance that someone with the following stats to get into a dental school?

GPA: 3.2
SGPA: 3.1
AA 20/ TS 21/ RC 21/ PAT 21
Worked as a dental assistant part-time for about a year

Nobody can know for sure. Your science GPA is a little low, but above 3.0 so thats a plus. Your DAT is good so that should help. Hopefully you have other good experiences in addition to working as a dental assistant. The limiting factor seems to be your GPA, but people do get in with GPAs like that, it may not be common but it happens. Best of luck.

Shadowed a specialist, volunteered a little, and was a dental club president.

If you have $25 dollars laying around I'd recommend getting the ADEA dental school explorer. You can find the mean accepted GPA and DAT, but not only that but it also includes the 5th and 95th percentile for them as well. It gives you a pretty decent idea of where you stand compared to the last matriculated class. It even includes some brief information on what the schools looks for in applicants besides those stats.

Can you elaborate more on the 5th and 95th percentile section? Is that the range of people accepted?

Ya basically, picture like a standard distribution curve, 90% of the scores fall between those two numbers. Anything outside of theme is kind of an extreme.
