Rank list due date for match for med. schools

When do schools have to submit their match list preferences? I am asking because I am wondering when would be the last month to do an away/audition elective and still influence my standing on a school's rank list.

Programs turn their lists in around the same time as applicants.

The problem will be interviews. Interview season starts in early December (some even earlier) and runs through the end of January/early February. You won't have time to spend on an audition rotation if you're interviewing.

Most people seem to do their auditions between July and October.

You also want to remember that you might want a letter from the institution where you rotate -- again, earlier will make this possible.
