I'm in need of some information for a TV script. What process would someone with a Sports Medicine background do to diagnose a torn ACL immediately following the injury? Also, would there be any key indicators of that an injury of that nature is about to occur or is more likely to occur? Would they be able to (with 100% certainty) diagnose the injury on the field or would an x-ray or other examination method be required?
