I have a while yet before I have to worry about applying but I am pretty sure I will be doing med-peds. I see lots of lists ranking programs but they are more research oriented "big name" programs but not necessarily the best for primary care. From what I have read that is what most grads do anyway. What are the good programs if you want to (need to) do primary care?

When I interviewed at Stony Brook the co-PD told us that they really want to recruit people that are interested in primary care over fellowship/subspecs. I also saw a large primary care focus in Loma Linda when i interviewed there. I would recommend some of the community programs maybe, probably more primary care focus.
