PHS Coast Guard Pharmacy

I am a hopeful applicant for pharmacy schools with the hopes of joining the USPHS Coast Guard program as a pharmacist. I was wondering if anyone had any advice in order for me to become a competitive canidate for that program. I heard that there under 20 spots available for this program. Any advice?
