I posted this in the Pharmacy forum but haven't got much response to it so I decided to try here.
I found a program, Pharmcoeconomics at USC and wanted to know more about it, such as...

1.) Can you do a pharmd/pharmcoeconomics route?
2.) The Pay?
3.) Future outlook (demand of this type of study)?
4.) Any personal experience thru friends, classmates, yourself, etc.
5.) What other PHARM schools besides USC have pharmcoeconomics?
6.) Would a PharmD/MBA degree be better?
7.) Anything else that would be helpful!

Thanks a bunch!

never heard of a program like that but to address #6 from my opinion, if you get two separate degrees unless you are VERY good in business, its hard to relate science to business unless you have a MBA with health manangement concentration or pharm concentration and those are few and far between. The program does sound interesting but I'm unsure how "clinical" that sounds. That sounds like a specialty program for those interested soley in the economics of pharmaceuticals who want a PhD/MS in those type of studies.
