Hey Everyone,
If interested, contact the program director at Duke, Dr. Jane Gagliardi, and attach your CV. In addition to PGY1 psychiatry residents who have the necessary foundation, if you have a PGY1 Internal Medicine year and you're looking to switch specalities, then you can likely jump into PGY2 psychiatry.
I've thoroughly enjoyed my time at Duke thus far. Some factors which caught my attention when I ranked Duke were: the strong focus on psychotherapy and psychopharmacology, presence of a psychoanalytic institute nearby, global health opportunities, and the vibrant multicultural city with a rising property market. Duke has plenty more to offer. If you have any questions, feel free to private message me.
