Position Wanted PGY-3 Gen Surge Looking To Switch To IM/FM/EM

Hi SDN Community,

i am currently a PGY3 General Surgery resident in the MidWest and I’ve now realized that for the last two years I kept telling myself I loved surgery but now I have realized it is not what I want. I miss primary care and I’m looking for any opportunities in Family Med, Internal Med or EM. I hold an MPH-MBA graduate degrees and have a huge passion for public/global health.

just for knowledge: Can you reapply through ERAS? and start from PGY 1 in IM ?

Yes I can. I was interested in seeing if there were any open positions now but re-applying is something I am heavily considering.
