Periodontolgy textbooks

Can anyone tell me what textbooks they use for periodontolgy in his/her school? I'm advancing to my second year and would like to get a headstart in periodontology during the winter vacation. Also, any other recommendations for perio would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

I used Carranza and Newman its a very wise start to get ahold this book, i think it was printed by McGraw-Hill.
