Please visit another great site for Optometrists and OD students at www.seniordoc.org

Lots of free advice and job opportunites.

When you posted on the other opt forum about senior doc, I went and I registered there so I could read the thread on the commercial doc losing his lease. To put it politely, I was told I wasn't welcomed there.

You HAVE to be in Opt school to be considered worthy of their forum. Since their are certain things they only want to discuss with their peers...I emailed Paul Farkas, and he basically said I was welcomed once I started OD school and with my background he was sure I would get in when I chose to do so...In the meantime I am actively blocked from the forum.

So...I would love to join you there, and learn more..but that will have to wait another year.

I'm sorry that happened cassandra. That's really crappy. But, I'm sure they don't want to talk about refracting opticians when there are opticians around.

Hey Cassandra,

Sorry you couldn't get on the seniordoc site.

There has to be SOME benefit to being a doc or OD student

How are you doing? I believe you were going (or are going) off overseas to do some good work. Have you been?

Ahhhh, never mind. I just read your other post. Good job.

I got the same response from Paul Farkas too, he asked me to come back to join them once I got into optometry school

I think it's my fault that Paul's not letting any more pre-optometry students in -- he let me join, and I posted a really lame question (it was early in the morning, no coffee yet). So now he probably thinks we're all lame. I'm sorry, guys.
