neurology?

I'm interested in going into neurology but wanted other people's feedback on what they thought of the field. I hear a lot of people complain they think neurologists just simply make a lot of diagnoses but when it comes to treatment don't do much. What is the lifestyle like for neurologists? And about how much money do they make? Are they able to do any procedures to increase their salary?
