Practicing physicians can enroll in the voluntary certification program established by the board in order to acquire certification in nephrology. The nephrology board examinations are scheduled every year, and are designed to evaluate knowledge and clinical judgment skills in different areas of nephrology. Thousands of nephrology board review courses and other materials are available on the web to help physicians prepare for the exams. Candidates are advised to take note of the following dates pertaining to the next nephrology board examinations:

October 10, 2013 - Date of the next board examination
November 18-22, 2013 - Examination dates for candidates who need special testing accommodations
March 1, 2013 - Start of registration for the October 2013 nephrology board exam
May 1, 2013 - Registration deadline
May 2, 2013 - Start of late registration (involves additional fees)
June 1, 2013 - Registration deadline for late applicants
September 1, 2013 - Last day for cancellations

Nephrology Board Review Program Summary

The Brigham Renal Board Review Course major objective is to prepare participants for the Nephrology Board Exam (Certification/Re-Certification). It conveys state-of-theart information on the pathophysiology, diagnosis, and management of renal disorders.
