Coursework & Fieldwork Moving for L2 FW - When is it worth it?

I'm a 2nd year OT student and time is fast approaching to select FW sites. For those who have gone thru L2 did you relocate? If so how far?

There may be an opportunity for me to be placed at the Mayo clinic but I would have to move from the east coast. Is it worth the expense of moving? Would this experience help me with my career in the long run?
