Mid Tier programs geared towards training in solid tumors?

I'm applying this year and considering my profile (US grad coming from a mid tier IM university program, ok research but not great, so-so board scores), I'm trying to be reasonable in my expectations of where I can be competitive and apply to certain programs accordingly. What would you all recommend as mid-tier programs geared more towards training in solid tumors? My geographic location is ideally the northeast/west coasts, MD/DC/VA, chicago, and texas but really, I'm looking for the best program I can get into. Thanks!
