Applying into surg specialty with plans to complete a sub-I next month and upload a much-needed letter by mid Oct. What would be the best approach for making it known in ERAS at time of submission (next week)?
a) Integrate somehow into PS
b) Short sentence in "impactful experience"
c) Emailing coordinators at every program once letter is uploaded

Thanks!

For writing about your impactful experience, read:
I don’t have an impactful experience to write about. I’m just wondering how I should let programs know I’ll be completing a sub-I with a letter to follow after my application has already been submitted. The letter is important to completing requirements, so I feel it is pertinent to give programs a heads up about it.

I bring up the impactful experience section because this is the only section on ERAS where I feel like it’d be possible to bring something like this to attention.

Probably C. All sorts of people will review your application. Would be pretty weird and slightly off setting to read about an incoming letter in a PS or some small prompt.

Though to be fair, saying "I look forward to doing a rotation in the program" is 100x less weird than the other crap people put in a PS
