How often do people get $20,000 scholarship for medical school? Are such scholarships given without application or one has to apply before one gets such. Anyones input will be greatly appreciated. For those who are getting ready to start on Monday, I want to wish those people goodluck and success. Take it easy.

This is a really odd question... there are so many factors that go into money given out by schools.. first of all, merit scholarships vary soo much between schools, some places there are things you have to apply for, for example, albert einstein, and others they just automatically send you merit money info with your acceptance... need based is also contingent upon schools.. some have funds to give out a lot of need based money and other schools don't....
