Around 2:46pm 3/11, 2011 (JST), 9.0-magnitude earthquake struck the north-east coast of Japan, triggering a massive tsunami. By Wednesday, March 16, 2011 12:17 (JST), the number of dead and missing from Frida-y's massive earthquake and tsunami in northeastern Japan has exceeded 11,000. And at least 1.6 million households are still without water. Due to the earthquake, on Wednesday, the radiation level at the quake-hit nucle-ar power plant in Fukushima Prefecture rose to 10 millisieverts per hour at 10:40 AM near the main gate.
