Important to consider/ Appropriate to ask?

MS4 here trying to decide my rank list order for DO ortho programs. I was wondering if it's important to consider the specific volume of cases different programs get (i.e. resident from Program A may complete 1200 TKAs, vs 600 at Program B)? Is this information that programs would be willing to disclose?

It definitely matters but it’s not always what it seems on the surface. For example, 600 TKAs at one program could be one resident scrubbed with one attending and doing most of the case while 1200 TKAs at another program can be including cases that are triple scrubbed where residents are just closing the case. Quality vs quantity to dumb it down. Just use your experience during your auditions to see the real numbers.
