I'd like to hear suggestions from you people and I thank everyone in advance for your help.
I am interested in neurology but I am not sure with my credentials where I should apply.
I am an IMG, graduated in 1997 (considered old by some programs) My score are 257/99, 258/99 on step 1 and step 2. I have a PhD in Neuroscience from a top US University, with good publications ( that is why I am an "old" graduate now). Also have a master's degree of computer science from the same university. Current working as a research scientist in the pharmaceutical industry. No US clinic experience. One LOR from US neurologist. I don't need visa sponsorship.
Considering my lack of US clinic experience and (sadly) the negative image of IMGs in programs directors' mind, is there any chance I can get into a top neurology program? What kind of program would you suggest?
