How many times should you follow-up after the Thank You????

Hey Guys,

How many times should you follow-up with a program to keep your application and interview fresh in the minds of the selection committees without going overboard???

For the program i am putting # 1 (I interviewed in early December and I think they just compiled their rank list)
- I sent a TY letter about 1 week after the interview
- called the PD about one month later
- sent another letter a few weeks after that, and then recently sent a very short, brief e-mail to the PD

OVerkill? Maybe, but I'd rather try that then be at another program next year wondering "what if I had called/written just once more"
I know you don't want to get on their nerves either, but this PD is very nice so I felt comfortable doing this.

Guess we'll see in about a month if it's been worth the stamps...
