i have heard that there is a shortage of child psychiatrists, and hence the demand for them.
but, how prevalent are child psychiatric cases?
besides mental ******ation, attention deficit disorder, bulemia/anorexia, and depressed teens, what other cases do child pscyhaitrists see?
also, does the demand for child psychitarists correlate with their salary figures?
i am considering psych as one of my career options. i am trying to get to know more about the field before i do my 3rd year psych rotation later this year. any helpful info would be appreciated. thank you.
