How do you get a hospital internship?

Hey everyone, I'm a 2nd year Rx student...I was just trying to ask if there is anyone on this board who has either done an internship at a hospital pharmacy or has worked at a hospital pharmacy as a tech. I'm having SOOO much trouble getting hired but I truly want an internship at a hospital this coming summer.

I've tried several hospitals in my area, and they all say that they don't hire summer interns (even though I'm willing to stay with them when school starts); they have no openings, etc. I've faxed my resume, called, showed up in person, talked to directors of pharmacy and supervisors who recruit pharmacy employees, but still no luck. Am I doing something wrong? If there are any tips anyone could provide me it would be wonderful! THANK YOU!!

advice on hospital pharmacy..... hmm... RUN!? The only experience I had in hospital pharmacy.... I wanted to poke my eyes out.
