Hi everyone
,
I am a non-US IMG and I completed all my steps and I am currently enrolled in clinical research at Mt Sinai in NYC. I graduated in 2012 ,but was working as a full-time respiratory therapist until recently (June 2019). I tried the residency match 2 times already and did not receive any interview. I had a couple of red flags ( year graduation and 2nd attempts on step 2s), but I still have the drive to pursue this dream of mine. I would like to apply again next year and I think securing a position as a house physician would be of great help. I applied for a license in FL but one of the requirement is to put the prospective hospital I am planning to work at, however a scrolled on the internet and none is to be found. Does anybody know a way to secure such a position?
